Anne Bonny’s father (William McCormac) was a prominent attorney in London circa 1700. He set sail for Charleston with his bookkeeper/ servant (Anne’s mother) after getting her pregnant. In Charleston, he built a fortune as a merchant - trading coffee, sugar cane, and cotton.
Bonny’s father let high society go to his head and when Anne was only 16, he tried to marry her off to a prominent politician. In revenge, Anne set the plantation on fire, put a man in the hospital for two weeks and left for Nassau, Bahamas with a pirate named James Bonny.
We partnered with women coffee growers and roasters to bring you this handcrafted triple espresso vodka. Our 48 hour cold brew and XXX dark roast gives “DEAD EYE” its distinctive black color and rich flavors of dark chocolate, caramel and black cherry.
